Sierra Black is a Witch working in the Reclaiming and Feri Traditions of Witchcraft. Her practice focuses on personal growth and political activism in the context of a feminist, earth-centered spiritual path. She has been practicing for 15 years, and has worked with numerous teachers including Thorn Coyle and the Diana’s Grove Mystery School. Her writings on Pagan topics have appeared in newWitch Magazine, Witchvox and Reclaiming Quarterly.
Sierra’s poetry, personal essays and feature articles have been widely published. She has performed with Saul Williams and at the Poetry Slam Nationals, and has been a featured poet at the Stone Soup Poets, the Amazon Poetry Slam and other Boston area venues. Sierra has also worked as a features reporter for the Pulitzer-Prize winning Eagle-Tribune newspaper. Her articles have appeared in Bitch Magazine, Spare Change News and numerous local and regional publications. She holds an M.F.A in Creative Writing from Emerson College.
Sierra has been reading Tarot for over a decade. Her Tarot readings combine careful scholarship in traditional Tarot systems with an array of tools drawn from her background in Witchcraft. She is a member of the American Tarot Association.
